I was born and raised in NY.

In the second grade I took mandolin lessons for one year.

Starting in 5th grade I took accordian for three years.

In the 8th grade I started guitar lessons for 2 years
and never looked back.

Also while in the 8th grade, I played in small dance band.

Circa 1958 I co-founded folk group with Bob Melissinos,
Bob Conroy and Mike Herlihy
We were together for about 5 years.

Went on a musical hiatus until age 50.

I played off and on until 2012 when I moved to a
houseboat in Ft. Myers, FL, a community with
a strong americana music ethic

I am currently playing with
the Pine Island Sound Quartet,
the Long and the Short of it Trio,
and some solo work.
